Sony sales May 2006
Sony Computer Entertainment America had quite a nice May 2006 in the United States according to their press release citing the NPD Group. The Playstation 2 sold 232K units, outselling the Xbox 360 which sold 221K units, and the Nintendo Gamecube which sold 33K units. The PSP sold close to 160K units, edging out the Gameboy Advance which sold 152K, and the Nintendo DS which sold 146K in the U.S. during the month of May in the year of our Lord 2006. The Playstation Portable has sold 4.7 million units since its release in March of 2005. {06/15/2006}
